Job Description

Golding Contractors is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Plant Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our mining projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies to minimize equipment downtime and optimize maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address reliability issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to maintenance personnel on equipment reliability and maintenance best practices.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, procedures, and training materials to ensure consistent and effective maintenance practices.
  • Work closely with the Technical Specialists team to identify and implement improvements to equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
  • Provide training and support to Student and Graduate Engineers within the Plant Engineering team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance module and fluid condition analysis.
  • At least three years of project-based mobile plant maintenance experience.
  • Leadership skills, including the ability to manage change, influence, motivate, mediate, negotiate, and improve the performance, satisfaction, and skill level of all operators.
  • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team and work to the plan.
  • Communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal, with the ability to interact and liaise with all levels, including internal stakeholders, external stakeholders, and clients.
  • Prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and delegate effectively.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
