The State Government of Victoria, Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the Customer Channels workstream for the Future Public Transport Ticketing (FPTT) System.
The FPTT system will replace the existing Myki system with Account Based Ticketing (ABT), enabling greater travel choice for customers and facilitating the efficient collection of fare revenues.
The Senior Project Manager Customer Channels will be responsible for coordinating management activity across the Customer workstream, working with the Customer Lead, project managers, and other workstream leads to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver the Concession Entitlement Validation Platform (CEVP) program in line with the wider Public Transport ticketing program.
- Manage CEVP stakeholders, both internal and external to DTP, and deliverables across scheduled milestones.
- Track progress of activities in the Customer channels delivery phase schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
- Identify and address risks and issues that arise for the Customer channels during project activity, mitigating and managing risks and roadblocks.
- Deliver required reporting, providing comprehensive and accurate updates to stakeholders and project management oversight.
- Manage stakeholder relationships critical to the execution and delivery of the work in the Customer channels stream, fostering strong collaboration and support.
- Facilitate seamless communication and coordination with functional teams to ensure timely availability of resources and achievement of workstream deliverables.
- Report progress and provide expert advice to senior stakeholders and other workstreams as required, contributing to informed decision-making and overall project success.
- Project management experience, including for public transport and technology projects.
- Public transport experience, either directly or overseeing activities of a service contractor.
- Experience interacting with contractors on site and managing site issues.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in transportation engineering, construction management, or project management is highly regarded.
