Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to lead our culinary team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and high-quality functioning of the kitchen and catering service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that meet resident dining needs and preferences
- Manage food purchasing, storage, handling, and preparation to ensure quality and safety standards
- Oversee the washing, preparation, and cooking of all foods, including vegetables, soups, sauces, gravies, main dishes, desserts, sandwiches, salads, bread, and rolls
- Ensure that all meals are prepared fresh daily using seasonal produce
- Implement infection control principles and practices as per infection control policies
- Complete charts/forms promptly and correctly as per duty list and Quality & Assurance Processes
- Identify training needs and requirements of Catering Staff
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Budget management skills
- Understanding of food audits
- Hotel/restaurant experience desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders
- Effective time management and organisational skills
