Job Description:

As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery and continuous improvement of the Diploma of Nursing program.

The successful candidate will provide academic and operational leadership, overseeing course operations, including timetabling, resource planning, and assessments. This role also involves developing new courses, supporting Course Advisory Committees, and leading staff professional development. You will monitor student progress, review safety protocols, and contribute to academic policy development. Additionally, you will teach within the course, sharing your expertise and fostering a supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong initiative and problem-solving skills to address challenges and improve processes. They must be able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic and operational leadership, overseeing course operations, timetabling, resources, and assessments.
  • Assist in course development, support Advisory Committees, and contribute to research and policy reviews.
  • Lead staff professional development and monitor student progress, performance, and satisfaction.
  • Update safety protocols and teach within the Diploma of Nursing course.
Requirements:
  • A Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
  • No less than 5 years teaching experience in the Diploma of Nursing.
  • Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with students, staff, and diverse groups.
