**About the role**:
As Course Coordinator for the Diploma of Nursing programs, you will manage the successful ongoing delivery of the Diploma of Nursing program by overseeing academic staffing matters, coordinating program delivery and ensuring student-centric experience. The Course Coordinator is responsible for:

- Providing academic and operational leadership to the Diploma of Nursing staff who deliver the Diploma course.
- Assist in the establishment and management of external moderation arrangements and benchmarking of performance against academic objectives.
- Leading the Scholarly activities and professional development of Diploma of Nursing staff in the field or disciplines of the course which they coordinate including undertaking and contributing towards research to improve teaching and learning in the organisation.
- Providing reports to the Academic Board, Course Progress Committee, Course Advisory Committee and Teaching and Learning Committee.
- Develop, monitor ,implement deliver all reporting requirements to governing bodies which includes ANMAC and ASQA, ensuring that all necessary standards of compliance are met

**About you**

Ideally, you will hold a minimum of Bachelor of Nursing and a postgraduate degree relevant to nursing. You must at least have a minimum of 24 months' experience as a trainer/assessor. Preferably you will also hold or be willing to complete a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent). In addition, your background and experience will ideally include:

- Previous exposure to ANMAC submissions would be preferable
- Current Registration with AHPRA/NMBA as a Registered Nurse with no conditions relating to conduct or performance
- Previous experience within an RTO environment is essential
- Previous experience as a Senior Educator or Course Coordinator would be advantageous
- Current Working with Children Check
