Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Administration Officer. As a key member of our team, you will provide efficient and effective inpatient administrative support and general administrative duties within a fast-paced environment.

As a PICU Administration Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the clinical staff in the ward area and working as a responsible and active member of the PICU team. You will be expected to maintain accurate records, manage administrative tasks, and ensure seamless communication between teams.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in administration roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clinical staff, patients, and families.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

You will have a diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or health services management. Your qualifications will be recognized by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
