Job Opportunity

We are excited to welcome a new Health and Safety Professional to our team.

This role provides technical health and safety guidance to the business and is responsible for supporting the improvement and sustainability of site health programs, such as audits, risk assessments, investigations, machinery safety, chemical safety, working at height, ergonomics, electrical safety, contractor safety, permit to work, lockout/tagout and emergency management.

The successful candidate will have sound experience in a similar health and safety role in food manufacturing or mass production environment, a certification in workplace health and safety or similar, great project management skills in driving the delivery of safety projects, understanding of government safety requirements and industry standards, and the ability to facilitate safety training programs in small or large groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the National Risk Prevention Framework and Site Health and Safety Plan
  • Development and Delivery of Health and Safety Training
  • Support Return to Work Initiatives
