We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Defence Schools Mentor to provide support and resources to the families of ADF members. This role involves developing and delivering activities to help ease the impact of mobility and service-related parental absence.

  • A current Ochre Card or the ability to obtain one is essential for this role.">
  • Sound communication skills, both oral and written, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with children, school staff, parents, and ADF members, are crucial.">
  • The ideal candidate will possess organisational skills, prioritisation abilities, and the capacity to maintain confidentiality.">
  • They will also need to be able to plan, organise, and deliver activities that cater to the needs of ADF families.">
  • Quickly acquiring an understanding of the operations of the school and possessing a current driver's licence (MR Licence would be advantageous) are highly valued traits in this position.
