Since opening last November, the SASH Adelaide team has provided the regions pets and their families with gold standard care and the team shows no signs of slowing down yet We continue to provide a complete range of clinical services to our patients with all four of our hospitals working collaboratively. Our Adelaide team is looking for a dedicated and organised Operations Support Officer with a passion for working with people at all levels of the business

**The Operations Support Position**:
This position offers you a career pathway into a senior role in operations management with opportunities to develop your forecasting and budget management, strategy, and people management skills. You will be supported by a wider operations team and well as centralised People & Culture, Finance and Procurement functions. This is a 12-month, parental leave position with the potential to grow into a permanent position. The responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

- Support the Operations Manager with daily troubleshooting of issues to ensure mínimal impact to the day to day running of the hospital
- Schedule management for the Veterinary team
- Coordinate and facilitate marketing requirements including hospital tours and management of marketing materials in conjunction with the marketing team
- Collaborate with Client Services team and Operations Manager to resolve any client complaints
- Champion process improvement as a key member of the Operations team
- Partner with the Facilities and Finance Managers
- Partner with the procurement team to monitor and maintain stock within departments, facilitate ordering and stock auditing processes
- Coordinate University Student placements and rotation and facilitate induction processes.
- Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, and cohesive team effort
- A point of contact for team member ideas and concerns

**About you**:
We are looking for a driven and committed individual with a flexible and collaborative approach to your work. You will be passionate about continuous improvement and fostering an engaging environment, which requires you to be hands-on and enjoy multi-tasking.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar administration role, requiring an ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong self-motivation and a desire to be the best you can be
- An appreciation of how good technology can boost efficiency and effectiveness
- Attention to detail and a commitment to follow through and follow up
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
- A structured thinking style, a solution focus, and a decisive nature with a bias for action
- Strong time management and personal organisational skills
- A high level of enthusiasm, initiative, and desire to learn new skills and take on new tasks.
- Confidence dealing with internal and stakeholders of all levels including C-suit
