Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Meat Department Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the meat department, including creating rosters, generating orders, and completing stock takes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a small team of staff in the meat department
  • Create and manage rosters to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Generate orders for meat products and maintain inventory levels
  • Conduct regular stock takes to ensure accurate inventory levels
Requirements
  • Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
  • Fresh food retail knowledge desirable
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Ability to order and control costs
  • An excellent understanding of gross profit calculations
  • Able to liaise with team members and management
  • Passion and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality service
