
Agri-Sector Business Development Specialist

This role is focused on managing canola sales in the Central NSW/MIA broadacre cropping zone. You will be ensuring that seed & traits products are effectively communicated and strategically positioned within the region to maximize sales across the Canola portfolio.
We're seeking an experienced and proactive Agricultural Area Sales Manager with an Agronomy/Sales background to join our expanding Commercial team. This individual will manage the Central NSW segment (location within territory flexible) and requires regular travel. A tool of trade vehicle will be provided.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing sales presentations, business plans and proposals to ensure successful outcomes of transactions
- Actively calling on key accounts and assisting sales force to maintain end user pull through for Seed products
- Ensuring that Nufarm Seed reseller clients and their end-users are equipped with the necessary marketing, technical and agronomic information to successfully recommend and use our products
- Organizing regional marketing/technical training meetings with major resellers and/or end-users
- Assisting with market development of new products and repositioning existing products to maximize returns
- Promptly responding to and resolving any concerns with the company or its products
- Attending industry meetings, conferences, field days and seminars
- Managing reporting/forecasting of Monola planting declarations to Monola grain partners
To succeed in this role, you will have a broad knowledge of Agronomy and the Agricultural industry, ideally with a Broadacre crop focus including Canola. You should also be energetic, engaging, customer-focused, and results-driven, with excellent communication and time management skills.
You will be passionate about developing relationships with internal teams, customers, end-user growers and consultant agronomists as well as developing your own skills.
