Job Title: Community Support Specialist Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing cultural support plans for Aboriginal clients, working closely with local support services and the Koori Court to enhance case management outcomes. Required Skills and Qualifications:To excel in this role, you will need:  
  • a deep understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal Community, including its social and cultural nuances
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to engage sensitively with members of the community
  • experience in effective case management practices, including proactively managing risk and motivating individuals
  • assertiveness and confidence in dealing with challenging behaviors
