The Opportunity

Our Before and After School Care service at Manifold Heights Primary School is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated OSHC Service Coordinator to provide exceptional care and supervision for children in our care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children, developing and implementing engaging activities, and building meaningful relationships with families and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, plan, and deliver daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
  2. Supervise and support children during before and after school care sessions.
  3. Prepare and serve healthy food options that meet dietary requirements.
  4. Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and school leaders.
  5. Identify and respond to children at risk, maintaining a high level of child protection awareness.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Certificate 4, Diploma or Bachelor's in Children's Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Employee Working with Children's Check (willing to obtain).
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
  • Child Protection (CHCPRT001 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk) certification.
