Kuremara Care is a service provider that offers high-quality support services for individuals with disabilities, mental health needs, and other challenges.
We provide personal care assistance and daily living activities, including meal preparation, household tasks, and social integration activities. Our goal is to empower individuals to maintain their independence and dignity.
- Provide one-on-one support and assistance to individuals with diverse needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients.
- Engage clients in community activities, fostering social integration and participation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure client needs are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Participation: Facilitate and engage in community activities to promote social integration and participation.
- Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities, ensuring client comfort and well-being.
- Transportation: Safely transport clients, creating a supportive environment.
- Appointment Assistance: Accompany clients to appointments and provide necessary support.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Mental Health Support Worker, with strong background in community participation and personal care.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in mental health, disability support, or related field.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and work effectively within a team.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license essential for transporting clients.
- Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends.

Experience:
- Mental Health
- In-home assistance/care
Language:
- Clear English Speaking (required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident and friendly attitude.
- Ability to communicate sensitively and appropriately.
- Understanding of safe work practices.
- Previous employment experience in healthcare/Disability sector.
- Ability to work independently and accurately report back to supervisors.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience in providing quality services to assist people maintain independence, dignity, cultural values, and religious beliefs.
Qualification:
- Support worker: At least 1 year of experience
- NDIS Worker's Orientation
- NDIS Check - Yellow Card
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Passport or Visa
- Australian Driver Licence
