About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Officer to join our team at Yorke And Northern Local Health Network. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the hospital switchboard and reception area, providing exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors.
  • Create, store, retain, and dispose of resident records, contributing to the efficient resident management system.
  • Maintain accurate data entry into the patient management system, ensuring timely and confidential information.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets and Microsoft Office documents, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Take and type meeting minutes and agendas, ensuring accurate records of discussions and decisions.
  • Coordinate appointments and manage correspondence and bookings, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well in a team and with diverse stakeholders.
  • Empathy for individuals, integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to consumer needs.
  • Experience in providing professional secretarial and administrative support to executive level staff, with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Sound data entry skills and proficiency in computer software packages, including Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to cope with a high volume of work and constant changes of priorities.
  • Bright and friendly demeanor, with the willingness to assist with all customer and client enquiries.
