Opportunity for a Commercial Wound Care Specialist

Smith+Nephew is seeking a driven and commercially savvy Territory Manager to join our successful team in NSW North. As a Commercial Wound Care Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing sales within a designated territory, targeting customers for new business development, and providing in-service programs, workshops, and seminars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop sales within a designated territory covering the NSW North region.
  • Target customers for new business development.
  • Provide in-service programs, workshops, and seminars.
  • Attend conferences, trade displays, and meetings relevant to business development.
  • Work effectively with other S&N staff where overlap of territory responsibilities exists.
  • Keep up to date with competitor products and competitor activity.
  • Consult with Marketing and Regulatory Affairs Department on field promotional materials.
  • Review sales data monthly to actively performance manage key products and key accounts.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science or Business relevant disciplines ideal, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of selling experience in a similar role with Pharmacy products and/or in the Pharmacy Channel.
  • Proven success track record selling within the pharmacy channel.
  • Strong selling skills and understanding of the selling process.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry in ANZ.
  • Working knowledge of wound care or related area desirable.
  • Highly focused on exceeding customer expectations.
  • Good planning and execution skills.
  • Attention to detail and committed to excellence.
  • Superior presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
