Job Title: Clinical Specialist - Wound Care Management

We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Clinical Specialist - Wound Care Management to join our dynamic team committed to improving clinical outcomes across aged care settings in NSW and ACT.

About the Role

As a Clinical Specialist - Wound Care Management, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert, driving proactive, evidence-based strategies for wound prevention and management. You will work closely with Clinical Nurse Consultants and Educators, building strong relationships to implement Models of Care, while providing expert coaching and support to ensure best practices are adopted across aged care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based wound care management strategies
  • Provide coaching and support to clinical staff to ensure best practices are adopted
  • Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Consultants and Educators to implement Models of Care
  • Oversee program outcome data and lead the process of policy and practice improvement
  • Regular travel is required, approximately every few weeks
Requirements
  • Extensive practical knowledge of clinical and health services with at least 5+ years of aged care nursing experience with a strong background in Wound Care Management and Prevention
  • Postgraduate qualification in wound management and relevant AHPRA registration
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff
