About the Position:

  • Prepare and review complex financial statements and tax returns for various clients (companies, trusts, individuals, partnerships)
  • Offer tailored advice on tax planning, compliance, and strategies
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, addressing queries and providing solutions
  • Provide business performance insights, financial planning, and budgeting
  • Work closely with our Director, who will mentor you one-on-one

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in an Australian accounting firm for at least 4+ years
  • Experience with direct client engagement and offering tax planning strategies and advice
  • Experience working with complex tax matters such as Div7a, FBT, CGT, R&D (SMSF's is beneficial)
  • Completion or willingness to pursue CA/CPA qualification
  • Experience using MYOB, Reckon, and Handitax is advantageous
