Job Summary:

Mars Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Global Supply Operations Manager to join our team in this exciting opportunity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the transformational agenda to deliver strategic cost structures, analyzing factory performance, and providing recommendations for site development. This role involves developing capabilities across all teams to identify and eliminate losses, achieving business objectives through coordination with MSE (Mars Supply Excellence program) and Focused Improvement (FI) pillar implementation.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will collaborate closely with Plant Directors and Factory Management Teams, Regional Industrial Engineering, Global and Regional Supply & MSE teams, and Site FIMs to drive supply chain excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Co-pilot site strategy development with Plant Director aligned with regional strategy
  • Develop Annual Execution Plan (AEP) for the site in collaboration with S&F and other functional departments
  • Prepare supporting analysis for business development and execution of capital investment projects
  • Manage labor/material standard setting and performance
  • Oversee site small/minor budget in cooperation with Site Technical Manager and contribute to large/major investment requests
  • Extend MSE improvement tools within Quality, Safety, and Food Safety for asset health checks
  • Train/coach problem-solving skills for associates and support teams in problem-solving activities
  • Ensure integrated management system compliance with Mars Wrigley policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in production/TPM environment, preferably with line management background
  • Proven people leadership and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Strong affinity for supply chain process understanding and business administration
