Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team in Ballarat. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing wholegoods assets across all Brandt Tractor locations, collaborating with Operations, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure timely product planning and managing import/export logistics.
The key responsibilities of this role include leading order planning, inventory allocation, data maintenance, and auditing activities. Additionally, you will provide leadership and management to drive continuous improvement in product planning, order management, stocking levels, and distribution processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic guidance on inventory management and supply chain optimization
- Oversee the maintenance, administration, and analysis of the Estimate to Cash process
- Manage new machine order placement and inventory creation processes
- Lead tracking and analysis of asset configurations, sales history, and trends
- Accountable for stocking logic management of all dealerships and Corporate Pool locations
- Responsible for implementing inventory management strategies for future locations
- Collaborate with vendors to understand order lead times, future constraints, or product changes
- Implement supply chain solutions to provide efficient service to dealership locations while controlling costs
- Provide technical expertise and broad communication to sales leadership and operations teams
- Work closely with Logistics teams to assist in Pre-Delivery Inspection scheduling
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in inventory management, preferably within the equipment industry, with experience in supervisory roles and analytical thinking. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is also required.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Analytics, or similar discipline would be considered an asset. Additionally, travel to different Brandt locations may be required from time to time.
