The Key Performance Advisor plays a pivotal role in driving improved health, safety, and environmental performance at our site.
Responsibilities:- Establish a culture of excellence in safety, environmental, and quality aspects.
- Collaborate with site leaders to implement effective training, information, and support systems.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a role model in demonstrating care for others, safety, environment, and quality outcomes.
- Welcoming visitors and contractors, ensuring they sign the visitor book and wear appropriate PPE.
- Managing accounts payable, addressing overdue orders and incorrectly coded requisitions.
- Providing general reception and clerical duties, including answering calls and sending/receiving correspondence.
- Assisting with document control, archiving records, and restricting access to authorized personnel.
- Promoting health and safety responsibility across the site, ensuring employee and contractor adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Facilitating safety risk management, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing controls.
- Overseeing incident and action management, making recommendations and driving completion of corrective actions.
- Promoting environmental responsibility across the site, ensuring site adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Facilitating environmental risk management, identifying issues, assessing risks, and implementing controls.
- Ensuring site environmental licenses and permits are in place and renewed on time.
Requirements:
Nationally recognized qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety and/or Environment or equivalent qualification.
3 years relevant experience.
Demonstrated examples of effective relationship building skills, partnering with operational leadership, communicating relevant information, and training others.
