Warehouse Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Warehouse Officer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring safe and efficient storage of all inventory.

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and stock levels
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and document stock transfers and returns
  • Issue, return, and data enter stock in the Inventory Management System
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and adjust stock levels as needed
  • Accept deliveries and manage inbound/outbound freight
  • Ensure safe and efficient storage of all inventory
  • Perform area inspections to ensure safe operations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establish minimum/maximum stock levels for efficient inventory control
  • Raise and receive purchase orders in line with policy
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous stores/inventory management experience within a mining or heavy industrial environment
  • Australian Manual Driver's licence
  • Current forklift ticket
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to interpret maintenance parts and knowledge of other mine site consumables
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
