Workshop Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Manager to oversee our fleet maintenance operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in vehicle inspections, testing, and repairs, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating daily activities, allocating tasks, and scheduling jobs effectively to ensure high-quality workmanship and meet set timeframes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all vehicles are inspected and tested regularly to identify any issues or defects.
  • Coordinating the repair and maintenance of vehicles to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Developing and implementing effective procedures for vehicle inspections and testing.
  • Providing training and guidance to staff members on safety protocols and best practices.
  • Maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical or Heavy Vehicle preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy vehicles and transport equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
