Job Title: Community Access Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Community Access Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will support individuals with disabilities to actively participate in their community and daily life.

You will work collaboratively with our clients, providing assistance with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility. You will also support them in accessing community resources, attending social events, and participating in recreational activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with disabilities in daily living tasks, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Assist clients in accessing community resources, such as shopping, appointments, and social events.
  • Provide support for clients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure client-centered care.
Requirements:
  • A Certificate IV in Disability or relevant experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude, initiative, and self-motivation.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
