
Commercial Broker Panel Manager

Avant Finance, a specialist lender dedicated to supporting Australian medical professionals with a deep understanding of the unique journey and challenges a doctor will experience at various career stages. As we continue to grow, we are now seeking a Business Development Professional to be based in Melbourne.
The successful candidate will manage a commercial broker panel alongside Avant Finance – On Balance Sheet growth objectives by professionally managing new and existing client relationships and growing additional specific relationships and by converting new business opportunities from our direct market.
- Business Development to establish and grow your client base
- Pro-actively manage existing (client) relationships with reviews of pipeline and estimated deal flows. This includes discussing loan scenarios and structures with clients, ensuring fit with Avant Finance and third party product offerings.
- Maintain expected service standards – write and assist Relationship Associate with preparation and recommendation for credit submissions, ensure regular communications and follow-ups.
- Attend medical and dental conferences, broker and client functions as required - Relationship Tasks (External and Internal)
- Conduct regular sales and client calls, record activities and leads in Salesforce
- Actively manage pipeline ensuring budgets are achieved and take pro-active action to manage shortfalls
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the healthcare industry
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue business opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies
- 2+ years of commercial lending experience
