It's a good time to see what more you can find at NAB as a **Business Banker Commercial Broker**. If you're always thinking about what's possible, we want to hear from you. As an origination banker in the specialised Commercial Broker team, you will deal exclusively with commercially accredited brokers. Your focus will be proactively acquiring new Business Banking customers introduced to you via this network of brokers. Strong business development and relationship skills are central to the role, as you will be responsible for fostering and growing relationships with new and existing brokers. You will be committed to delivering on our customer promise and service standards to create an unrivalled broker and customer experience.
**In this Business Banker Commercial Broker role, you will**
- Regularly engaging and educating your broker network to promote Nabs market leading proposition, products and services via proactive calling and face to face meetings
- Identify and promote products and services exclusively to small business customers introduced by premium brokers.
- Deal vetting, and workshopping new lending scenarios for customers with brokers
- Create Broker loyalty and repeat business through delivery on Commercial Broker Service Standards for brokers and customers
- Consistently meet and achieve the core role and embody the how we work values.
- Consistently meet and achieve scorecard measures.
**What you'll bring**:
- At least 3 - 4 years sales and/or business lending experience (may include term /mortgage loan or asset-based finance) in the formal Financial Services sector as well as commercial acumen.
- Previous Retail or Business banking experience in working with customers, uncovering their needs, and delivering an appropriate solution. (required).
- A passion for brokers and customers and a strong focus on relationship building.
- Prior delegated credit authority held is highly desirable however not essential.
- Business related degree and /or post graduate professional qualification would be ideal or relevant industry experience.
- Ideally an ability to demonstrate a history of strong execution is also preferred.
- Applicants with existing broker networks will be strongly preferred.
