About the Role

This is a Food and Beverage Supervisor position with Accor, a leading hospitality company in Australia. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and bar outlets, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of ambassadors to ensure excellent service and high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Assist in managing staffing requirements to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Drive promotions and social media engagement to increase sales and customer loyalty.
  • Maintain effective communication within the Food and Beverage teams, including the kitchen, and be responsive to guest feedback.
  • Responsible for the efficient operation and high-quality service of our hotel's bar outlets.
  • Maintain product knowledge of all drinks, snack, and wine lists to advise and make recommendations to guests.
  • Ensure adequate coverage at all times, review the roster in the absence of the manager, and make changes if business demands it.
  • Ensure revenue for the shift is accurately accounted for, with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience within a luxury Food and Beverage environment.
  • A proven guest focus and ability to build a rapport with guests.
  • A passion for Food and Beverage.
  • Must be proficient in computer applications, software, and social media.
  • High level of wine knowledge, cocktail knowledge, and bartending skills.
  • Have a minimum one year's experience in a similar role.
  • A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including weeknights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
