About This Role

Key responsibilities of this role include providing technical support across iron ore processing circuits, monitoring and analysing plant performance to identify opportunities for optimisation, collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot process issues, assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, and preparing reports and contributing to metallurgical investigations and test work.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in a process engineering/metallurgist role within the iron ore sector is essential
  • A tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline is required
  • Strong knowledge of mineral processing and plant operations is necessary
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required
  • An effective communicator with a team-oriented approach is vital
  • Australian residency is mandatory
