We are seeking a Senior Geoscientist to join our team in Osborne Park. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced geoscientist to provide technical resource modelling and estimation capabilities within the Orebody Knowledge team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical reviews and assistance to operational ore control and short to medium term geological modelling inputs supporting the Mine Planning process. You will also be the key driver in improving and maintaining our resource governance processes, including assisting Mineral Resource Competent Persons.

In this role, you will:

  • Review and develop short- and medium-term planning iron ore models for operational ore control;
  • Develop iron ore domains for grade estimation and undertake analysis to determine inputs into estimations appropriate to the style of mineralisation being modelled;
  • Ensure planning models and ore control models are constructed and classified in accordance with agreed risk classifications;
  • Assist in undertaking technical reviews of operational ore control processes and advanced Brownfields projects;
  • Ensure that all work is delivered on time and budget, establish and maintain project schedules;
  • Assist in preparing regular reconciliation and project reports as required;
  • Establish and regularly maintain suitably detailed Planning model schedules;
  • Assist in preparing regular project reports and other briefing papers and reports as required;
