About the role

Customer Service Representatives will be required to answer phones, enter customer quotes and orders, read and create both CAD and PDF drawings, and follow up on quotes. Additional essential duties include programming and nesting (Sigmanest), supplying customer test certificates, as well as other ad-hoc tasks.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction with a focus on Sales
  2. Accurately estimating quantities from plans, bills, and engineering drawings
  3. Providing timely quotes to customers' specifications
  4. Follow up on active quotes and assist to build a pipeline of work
  5. Liaising with operations teams to ensure that orders are scheduled and dispatched to achieve full delivery-in-full on time (DIFOT)
Requirements
  1. Knowledge of or experience in the steel or construction industry is preferred
  2. Previous customer service and Sales experience
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of the team
  4. Attention to detail
  5. Intermediate computer and math skills
