Our organisation is seeking a proactive Diabetes Nurse Educator to join our Education Services team in delivering care to the community through client education and health promotion.

The Role

This role encompasses educating clients on self-management of their condition, conducting clinical sessions and programs, developing rapport with clients, and maintaining accurate records for internal and external reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group clinical sessions as rostered by management.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and develop strong relationships.
  • Deliver client-centred education empowering clients to self-manage their diabetes.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records for reporting purposes.
Requirements
  • Accreditation as a Credentialled Diabetes Nurse Educator with experience providing clinical support and education.
  • Experience delivering group education programs or training face-to-face or online.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including prioritising tasks effectively.
