Payroll & Hr Specialist Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for administering payroll for multiple locations and supporting the HR team with administrative tasks.

  • Weekly payroll administration for 40 warehouse staff across various states
  • Monthly payroll administration for 120 office staff in Australia and New Zealand
  • Reviewing timesheets for overseas staff to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Processing of quarterly Superannuation for all staff members
  • Month end reporting for hours paid, leave reports, payroll by state, and PAYG
  • Ensuring payroll is balanced to the General Ledger journals
  • Administration of Employee Benefits Program to provide support to employees
  • Reviewing invoices for agency temps to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Onboarding of new employees to ensure smooth transition into the organization
  • Reporting on workers compensation to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Coordinating travel arrangements to facilitate business operations
  • Organizing social events to maintain a positive work environment

You will work closely with the Human Resources team and report directly to the HR Manager. Your duties require previous solid experience in Payroll, exposure to HR administration, and experience using a medium to large payroll system and Time and Attendance system.
