Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement waste and resource recovery strategies, projects, and programs that align with our goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Undertake project work identified within relevant plans and policies, ensuring timely completion and effective results.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop, administer, and analyze reports to measure progress and inform decision-making.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer inquiries and provide excellent support to stakeholders.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration: Participate in joint projects, programs, and events with local, regional, state, and other relevant bodies to foster partnerships and collaborations.
  • Education and Training: Assist with the planning and delivery of educational programs, events, activities, and projects to promote awareness and skills development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environment or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant waste and resources recovery industry experience.
  • Local government experience in a similar position (desirable).
  • Drivers Licence (Class C).
  • High level interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • A self-motivated problem-solver with the ability to develop practical solutions, while applying project management skills and waste policy knowledge.
