Job Title:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Waste Management Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe consolidation and processing of various packaged waste streams in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Verify the proper labeling, packaging, and storage of hydrocarbon waste, guaranteeing compliance with safety protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records for all hydrocarbon waste transactions, including manifests, inspection reports, and disposal certificates.
  • Load and unload bulk waste oil from transport vehicles into storage tanks at our facility.
  • Operate equipment such as pumps, hoses, and transfer systems to facilitate the movement of waste oil.
  • Maintain a clean and organized waste management facility, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Waste Management is highly preferred.
  • A valid Forklift ticket is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A strong commitment to safety and compliance, with the ability to contribute to a positive safety culture.
  • Teamwork and adaptability are key qualities for this role.
  • A current HR License is a desirable asset.
