Pavement Engineer

The role of a Pavement Construction Team Member involves operating a variety of civil engineering plant equipment for the purpose of construction and maintaining pavement assets.
Key responsibilities include implementing traffic control plans, operating plant equipment during emergency event situations as directed by the Works Superintendent, and supporting pavement construction and maintenance projects.
To be successful in this role, applicants must hold a SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card) and have proven recent plant experience on pavement construction activities or similar.
Required skills and qualifications include relevant experience in road and drainage works, such as in-situ stabilisation, gravel re-sheeting, pavement upgrade, site levelling, pipe laying, culvert construction, drainage and environmental control installation.
Applicants must also possess demonstrated ability in the use of a personal computer and associated software packages, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Benefits of this role include a permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week, with a total remuneration package commencing at $67,975.75 gross per annum.
