Technical roles play a vital part in delivering quality homes and sustainable communities.
Crest Nicholson's Technical division is seeking an Architectural Technician to join the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering information and drawings required to ensure full compliance with standard design requirements and site-specific projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering information and drawings to ensure compliance with standard design requirements.
- Ensuring third-party production information is adapted to suit standard and site-specific projects.
- Producing site-specific layout drawings in collaboration with the technical manager.
- Mentoring and assisting staff as directed by the Group Technical Director.
- Providing regular reports to the Group Technical Director on project progress and highlighting any issues that arise.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Educated to OND, ONC, HND, HNC or degree in architectural technology.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD operating systems along with associated software.
- Good knowledge of Building Regs, BS, Codes of Practice and Material performance.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to multitask, identify priorities and proactively deal with issues.
- Self-motivated with flexibility to work with minimal supervision but also as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CDM legislation and willingness to complete design risk assessments and understand designers' responsibility.
