Rehabilitation Consultant Role

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives and provide excellent customer care.


To succeed in this role, you will need to undertake assessments relevant to your discipline, develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans, and design meaningful intervention programmes that build functional capacity and independence.


Your Responsibilities
  • Undertake assessments to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans
  • Design and deliver meaningful intervention programmes
  • Develop tailored rehabilitation plans and return to work strategies
  • Identify barriers and implement practical evidence-based solutions
  • Navigate multiple funding schemes to empower client recovery

Your Qualifications and Skills
  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Psychology and AHPRA accreditation or qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling and professional registration with ASORC
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders
  • Customer first mindset with focus on quality outcomes
  • Ability to work independently in the community and collaborate with clients, their families, medical teams, employers and other key stakeholders
