Senior Marketing Lead Role

The Senior Marketing Lead is a key role responsible for working closely with the Head of Retail in the ongoing strategic development, execution and management of Brand, Retail Experience and Promotional Campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee brand and event project management and business operations
  • Initiate projects with client briefings and organise teams internally and with suppliers
  • Manage concept and designs development end to end, including presentations to clients
  • Negotiate scope and cost with clients (supported by directors)
  • Manage projects regarding cost management, planning, concept, design, technical, procurement, production, logistics, and maintenance/operation aspects
  • Manage team finances, including forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, and time tracking
  • Oversee event management, including venues and promotional requirements (including operations and logistics)
  • Liaise with clients and account teams to establish program requirements and objectives, including obtaining briefs for retail, brand, and experiential projects
  • Ensure tactical plans for business growth with retail and experiential capabilities are in place for all clients
  • Manage direct reports and resource allocation
  • Manage and maintain a strategic overview of accounts, proactively advising clients on new issues and resolution options
  • Actively contribute to client marketing strategies and thinking
  • Raise issues or concerns with clients in a timely manner, following through to resolution
  • Demonstrate innovation and creativity beyond client ideas
  • Strategically lead project-related work, including process and schedule management
  • Ensure agreed client Key Performance Indicators are achieved throughout the year
Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 8 years of previous experiential project management experience within a marketing agency or team (preferred)
  • Strong marketing planning and execution knowledge
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in project management for brand experiences and events
  • Experience managing planning, concept, production, logistics, staffing, and operations for event projects
  • Exceptional local knowledge of event management in Australia
  • Strong financial competencies and commercial acumen
  • Strong motivation for business development
