About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional sales professional to join our team as a Pet Sales Associate. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a memorable shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service by engaging with customers, addressing their needs, and offering product recommendations.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of pet care products and services, enabling you to offer expert advice and inspire customers to make informed decisions.
  • Efficiently process sales transactions, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a visually appealing store environment, ensuring all stock is displayed attractively and creating an inviting atmosphere for customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pet care information, products, and services, contributing to a fun and supportive in-store culture.
  • Promote a strong safety mindset and lead by example to create a safe working environment for everyone.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for animals and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Previous experience in a similar retail environment, preferably in pet care or sales.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, demonstrating your ability to drive results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Physical fitness, including the ability to lift products up to 20kgs, ensuring you can handle the demands of the role.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required, demonstrating your adaptability and commitment to the team.
