Job Title: Spiritual Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team, dedicated to delivering high-quality spiritual care and wellbeing services.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for you to pioneer and launch new Pastoral and Spiritual Services across a portfolio of homes, elevating your career as a key member of the team.

We currently have various permanent positions available, offering a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To identify and respond to the diverse pastoral and spiritual needs of residents, their families, and staff with compassion, sensitivity, knowledge, and skill.
  • To collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to foster meaningful connections and enrich the lives of residents and their families.
  • To undertake spiritual assessments and contribute to care plans, drawing on well-developed knowledge and understanding of various spiritual expressions, including faith traditions and denominations.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience working in a similar role in aged care, healthcare, or community settings.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s, including clinical pastoral education (CPE), counselling, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills in working with people experiencing vulnerability.
