About The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pastoral Care Worker to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
- This role involves providing emotional, spiritual and social support to residents, enhancing their wellbeing and quality of life.
- You will work collaboratively with other staff members to deliver high-quality care services.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Familiarising yourself with our policies and procedures related to pastoral care.
- Maintaining appropriate boundaries and respecting the confidentiality of our residents.
- Recording visits and submitting monthly statistical returns to your manager.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in an aged care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, family members and other staff members.
- Ability to work harmoniously with people from diverse backgrounds.
