IT Business Relationship Manager, ANZ

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled IT Business Relationship Manager to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our IT organization, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our business stakeholders, ensuring that IT initiatives are aligned with business objectives and driving business value through technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users.
- Work closely with business leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and requirements, and communicate these to the IT department.
- Ensure that IT initiatives, projects, and services are closely aligned with business strategic objectives and leverage IT's strategic roadmap to advise and collaborate with business leaders for opportunities where IT can drive innovation, improve efficiency, and provide competitive advantage.
- Prioritize and manage the demand for IT services and solutions within the organization, working with business units to assess their technology needs, gather high-level requirements, and provide guidance on potential solutions.
- Facilitate the decision-making process, evaluating the feasibility and business value of proposed IT projects.
- Engage in business analysis activities to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies that could benefit AECOM.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in roles where a deep understanding of both business and technology is required, such as IT project management, product owner, solution architect, business analyst, consulting, or similar positions.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across different business lines and locations globally.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and conflict resolution is beneficial.
- Experience working and leading teams across multiple global locations.
- 10+ years in IT with a knack for leading transformative projects.
- 5+ years experience in business change management.
- Strong communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
- BRMP or CBRM certification.
