Temporary Maintenance Operative Job

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Temporary Maintenance Operative to support our busy accommodation site in Newcastle.

  • Perform general maintenance tasks, ensuring the property remains safe, tidy, and operational.
  • Carry out day-to-day repairs and minor maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, and joinery work as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Support site staff with setup or emergency works when needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous maintenance or handyman experience.
  • Confidence in using basic tools and equipment.
  • Reliability, proactivity, and ability to work independently.
  • Health and safety awareness and customer focus.
  • Availability for an immediate start and willingness to work full-time.

Location: Newcastle
Pay: up to £12.50 per hour (weekly pay)
Duration: Temporary 2 weeks
