About the Role:

In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal part in managing internal audit engagements and delivering high-quality risk advisory solutions. You will lead the planning, execution, and reporting of projects while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders.

This role is suited to a proactive professional seeking to make a tangible impact across clients and teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage various risk advisory engagements (e.g., internal audit, consulting, compliance) across a broad range of industries simultaneously with numerous engagement team members, including planning, execution, and scheduling staff.
  • Coordinate the team, including training, mentoring, and methodology compliance.
  • Maintain strong budgetary discipline, ensuring there are no major overruns. Ability to plan effective and realistic budgets.
  • Monitor team staffing requirements and future resource planning issues.
  • Work with and influence clients at senior levels in different business environments.
  • Perform technical and operational reviews for a range of clients with differing risk profiles.
  • Maintenance and completion of Engagement Files (electronic working papers) within a timely manner for Manager/Partner review.
  • Summarize the key areas of the engagement for the Partner/Principal/Manager.
  • Identify potential issues and document them with proposed recommendations for Partner/Management attention.
  • Draft engagement reports in conjunction with Partner/Principal/Manager, providing practical and commercial business advice.
  • Identify and refer ethical and conflict issues to Partner/Principal and/or Manager.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of client systems, processes, and internal control environment.
  • Stay on top of key industry factors.
  • Assist Partner/Principal and/or Managers in business development and marketing activities.
  • Contribute to meetings and ability to make effective presentations.
About You:

Your strong communication and leadership skills enable you to build trusted relationships, while your analytical mindset ensures you provide practical, value-adding insights.

  • 4+ years' internal audit and risk advisory experience, preferably in professional services.
  • Strong knowledge of internal audit methodology, IIA IPPF, and ISO 31000.
  • Proven understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong report writing and process mapping capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Organized, reliable, and self-motivated with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to deliver practical, value-adding recommendations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Data analytics skills (e.g., IDEA or ACL).
