Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Financial Business Advisor. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to stakeholders
  • Develop annual budgets and forecasts for various departments
  • Prepare and present financial reports highlighting key findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business cases and evaluate investment opportunities
  • Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from senior management

Requirements

  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Strong knowledge of OPEX management and financial modelling
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Power BI knowledge preferable
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Analytical skills and passion for continuous improvement

About the Role

The successful candidate will have strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills, as well as excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, with the ability to summarise key insights.

Main Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing financial guidance, analysis, and insights on OpEx performance.

Partner closely with department heads to develop annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Prepare and present financial reports, including ad hoc reports, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and variances to budget/forecast.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business cases for new initiatives, providing financial modelling, analysis, and evaluation of investment opportunities.

Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from senior management, providing accurate and timely information to support decision-making.
