Workplace Trainer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workplace Trainer to join our Clinical Education team at Warrigal. As a Workplace Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and development programs to support our staff in providing exceptional care to our residents.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position located in Queanbeyan and the ACT. The successful candidate will have a minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to obtain. You will also have experience in training and development, coaching, and mentoring, as well as well-developed organisational and planning skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality training programs to Warrigal staff
  • Ensure staff are skilled, competent, and supported to provide exceptional care to our residents
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Education Team Leader to develop and implement training programs
  • Conduct and present training sessions to a culturally diverse and multi-disciplined workforce
  • Develop and maintain competency-based assessments related to care
