Job Overview

This is a full-time position for an experienced diesel fitter to work on-site in Moranbah, QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining various mobile equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site maintenance and repairs to mobile plant, including heavy earth-moving equipment and trucks.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults and attend machine breakdowns on site.
  • Liaise with supervisors to coordinate parts and schedule services.
Candidate Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualification in diesel fitting or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in fitting, preferably on heavy earth-moving equipment.
  • Extensive experience working with Caterpillar equipment.
  • Field service experience.
  • Experience working with hydraulics.
  • A focus on safety and quality.
  • Aircon ticket and heavy vehicle driver's licence highly regarded.
