Job Opportunity: Diesel Fitter

We are seeking a skilled diesel fitter to join our team in delivering high-quality maintenance solutions and outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to safe work practices and compliance with the site's safety health management system.
  • Maintain, repair, and service various mobile plant equipment in line with industry standards.
  • Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and conduct preventative maintenance on heavy earthmoving equipment.
  • Complete documentation and reporting to a high standard.
  • Uphold excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the maintenance team.
Required Qualifications and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A trade certificate in diesel fitting or equivalent qualification.
  • Post-trade experience in the mining or heavy earthmoving industry.
  • Hands-on experience with general maintenance, breakdowns, component change-outs, and servicing of heavy earthmoving equipment.
  • A current driver's license is required, while Standard 11 certification is highly desirable.
