About The Role

As a Mobile Maintenance Fitter at Daunia mine, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mobile mining equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. This role involves working in a dynamic team environment, collaborating with site personnel to achieve safety and performance targets.

What You\'ll Do
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across the fleet of autonomous haul trucks and ancillary equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and contribute to a strong safety culture
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and other team members to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively
  • Adhere to all company policies relating to environmental and safety standards.
What You\'ll Bring
  • Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or heavy diesel fitting
  • Minimum 2 years post trade experience
  • Showcase your strong mechanical expertise, fault finding and diagnostic skills on a wide variety of mobile mining equipment
  • Experience working with 793F & 797F Haul Trucks, 994H Loaders, M Series Graders and D Series Water Carts
  • OEM Experience will be highly regarded
  • High levels of initiative and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong commitment towards safety and quality.
