Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead a major infrastructure project in the Cairns CBD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction and completion, operating in a client-side role.

This individual will oversee stakeholder engagement, procurement, contract administration, and risk management, while coordinating consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.

About this Role:

  • Lead complex infrastructure projects through all phases—from design and tendering to construction, commissioning, and completion.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including funding bodies, councils, consultants, and contractors to achieve project outcomes.
  • Possess sound knowledge of project management frameworks, with strong capabilities in scheduling, risk management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of legislative requirements, including the Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards, and local authority regulations.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, submissions, and tenders, and to negotiate effectively in complex stakeholder environments.
